Trip Basics

Dates: Monday, June 30 8:00 am - Thursday, July 3 7:00 pm
Participants: Female Students Grades 8-12 (Spring 2025)
Service: We will serve the L'Arche Boston North community through walking alongside people with differing abilities, assisting with their Hummus Day Program, and completing projects around their community homes.

Accommodations: All Saints Parish Hall, Haverhill, MA
Meals: All meals are provided.
Transportation: Transportation will be provided with pick-ups in Lee and North Adams.
Cost: We ask for a $30 deposit with registration. The actual cost is $150 per participant, but we plan to fundraise the difference. Participants are asked to assist with the fundraisers leading up to the trip.
Phone Policy: We strongly encourage students to leave their phones at home as this is a week long retreat and even when we have breaks from our service, it is important for students to have the time to reflect, discuss, and share with their peers distraction free. There will always be a chaperone with a phone in sight of the students in case of emergency. If a student brings their phone, they will have access to it for a fifteen minute period each night to check in with family; otherwise, student phones will be collected and held with Marya and Connie for the duration of the trip. Parents may always contact Marya or Connie should they need to reach a student.
